Transparency Talks at Marmara University - December 2018

Fikret Sebilcioğlu, the Vice President of the Transparency International Turkey (TI Turkey) Board, was a speaker at the “Transparency Talks” event organized by Marmara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Marmara Youth Academy Ethics Ambassadors on 5 December 2018.

The other speakers of the event were Oya Özarslan, the President of TI Turkey, and Yalın Hatipoğlu, the General Secretary of TI Turkey. In the panel titled "Civil Society for Transparency and Transparency and Ethics in Business”, Fikret Sebilcioğlu talked about the dimensions of corruption in Turkey with reference to the ACFE Global Study on Occupational Fraud and Abuse and Transparency International Corruption Perception Index and emphasized the importance of ethics and compliance programs in the private companies particularly in the fight against corruption.
