Professional Experience and Expertise 

Fikret Sebilcioglu leads the Forensic & Integrity practice at Cerebra CPAs & Advisors. 

Fikret Sebilcioglu has more than 30 years of experience in forensic accounting and fraud investigations; white-collar crime; auditing and accounting matters; litigation consulting; post-acquisition and shareholder disputes; and anti-money laundering.  

He conducted many large-scale fraud investigations in matters involving bribery, corruption, misappropriation of assets, embezzlement, supply chain fraud and money laundering.  He has also led multiple arbitration and dispute matters involving quantification of claim, valuation and loss of profit. Additionally, he assisted companies in numerous projects involving fraud risk management, corporate intelligence, compliance program evaluations, litigation support and investigative due diligence.  

Fikret Sebilcioglu has a deep understanding of auditing and accounting including IFRS. He is skilled in the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and the UK Bribery Act.  

Prior to founding Cerebra CPAs & Advisors in 2009, he spent 15 years at PwC from 1993 to 2008, working in both Istanbul and Rotterdam, where he conducted financial statement audits for public and private companies across multiple industries. 

Fikret Sebilcioglu has authored articles and addressed numerous professional groups at conferences, seminars and forums on a variety of fraud, ethics and compliance related topics.  In addition, Fikret Sebilcioglu delivered courses on Business Ethics & Corporate Social Responsibility to the Executive MBA students at Ozyegin University between 2018-2022.
